7th World Organic Forum at Akademie Schloss Kirchberg (Kirchberg Farmers‘ Castle) in Kirchberg/Jagst, Germany | 1 – 3 July 2024 | Future Food Systems: Organic – Regenerative – Agroecological? How do we find Common Ground when rapid change is needed? Local sovereignty and peace are directly interrelated with just food systems around the globe, ultimately creating healthy ecosystems, for healthy people and communities. At the 7th World Organic Forum 2024, we explored inclusive, non-dogmatic approaches that integrated diverse agricultural concepts, aiming to regenerate agrifood ecosystems and empower farmers and landworkers. The World Organic Forum is a global conference on development and agricultural policy held at Schloss Kirchberg in Germany pitting to its core work on the topics of Climate and Justice for the local implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Since 2023, the Akademie Schloss Kirchberg has increasingly emphasized agro-economic and agro-cultural aspects taking a closer look at global agrifood markets.
